ScanGaugeIII can help you monitor your vehicle’s most vital systems and provide the kind of real-time information you’ve been missing. Features include built-in digital gauges, 5 sets of trip data and an easy-to-use Scan Tool that reads and clears trouble codes — all in an ultra compact design that installs in minutes.
The ScanGauge is designed to plug directly into the OBDII diagnostics connector under the dash of 1996 and new cars and light trucks. Some vehicles built prior to 1996 may also be compatible with ScanGauge products.
The single connection to the diagnostic connector under the dashboard is all that is needed.

The ScanGauge can be mounted up to 6 feet from the under-dash diagnostic connector. The included Suction Cup Windshield Mount allows the ScanGauge to be quickly detached and then used to troubleshoot other vehicles.
Simple touch operation allows you to quickly and easily access the powerful features of the ScanGauge. Swiping two fingers up or down will raise and lower the brightness

The Digital Gauges and Trip Computer information can be shown in either English or Metric units of measure, including Kilometers, Liters, Celsius, and kPA.
ScanGaugeIII provides real-time gauges to show you what is going on “under the hood” with built-in digital gauges. The gauge screen allows you to select and display up to 9 gauges at a time, so you can monitor the current operating conditions of your vehicle in real-time.
The ScanGaugeIII features the exclusive X-GAUGE™ vehicle specific gauge system; you can monitor parameters such as transmission temperature, oil temperature, trip data and fuel economy information. X-Gauge™ gives you the ability to customize your ScanGaugeIII by adding additional vehicle specific digital gauges. The all new Auto Scan feature of the ScanGaugeIII can automatically scan your vehicle for available XGauges.

With four built-in trip computers, the ScanGauge can keep track of everything from fuel cost to distance traveled and everything in between. Data is stored on the ScanGauge and is retained even when the power is disconnected. Each trip computer starts automatically and information is available anytime during the trip.
The ScanGauge includes three trip computers based on time and distance. They include the Current Trip, Today Trip and Previous Day Trip. Each trip computer starts automatically and tracks the following parameters:

The ScanGauge 3 can check for Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs) and if found, can display how many there are and the Trouble Codes themselves along with the code meaning. You are also able to view pending codes if there are any to catch problems before they become worse.
If no codes are found and your Check Engine light is still on, your vehicle may be storing pending codes. The ScanGauge 3 provides a method to force clear any detected or undetected Trouble Codes with just a few touches of the screen.
